Types of Readers

Types of Readers

There are so many different books out there, and just like them are all different types of readers. We have come up with a few can you pick which type of reader you are?

The binge reader

The binge reader has an insatiable appetite for reading. When they stumble upon a new series they can’t resist the urge to dive right in. Rather than taking their time to savour the books, they devour them in just a few days!

The Lover

This reader is the type of person who struggles to choose just one favourite book. They have so much love for books that they cant help but fall for every title they read.

The restless reader

This reader struggles to stay focused on one book and find themselves often losing interest midway through. Though they fully intend to finish a book they often lose the motivation to do so.

The renewer

The renewer finds comfort in the familiarity of their favourite reads. These readers often revisit the same book over and over again whether its to reminisce on their favourite moments or to see what more they can find out, or even possibly because they are not a fan of the unknown and revisiting a regular book of theirs helps to avoid this.

The spoiler

Our last type of reader is someone who reads the last page of a book first. Perhaps this person just doesn’t like surprises or maybe they just can’t wait to know how it all turns out. Whatever the reason, the spoiler reader may frustrate others but to them, knowing how the story will turn out is all part of the reading experience.

So whether you find yourself binge reading through an entire series in a matter of days or taking your time to truly savour every word, Having a multitude of different books you love or just one strong favourite, there is one thing that we all have in common, our love for books and reading. So remember, don’t be afraid to embrace your own unique reading style because the joy that comes from a good book is like no other.
